When President Obama convenes the Town Hall Meeting in Detroit on July 14th, I hope there will be an opportunity to discuss the “Detroit Marshall Plan” which has been approved by the City Council and spearheaded by Dr. Soji Adelaja, Land Use
Institute Professor at Michigan State University. The Plan has been developed during the past year and creates a new paradigm for resurrecting Urban America via: re-population, rapid transit, renewable energy, public jobs for every unemployed head of household, 2 year moratorium on foreclosures, and urban farming, et. al.
