Yahoo News launched a new feature now in beta which uses your location data to pull in news from major sources in your region. The module is located on the news.yahoo.com page

The local news feature is great. It is nice to have in the sports section. One more thing that Yahoo does that makes them the best portal on the internet.

I didn’t even realize this was on sports.yahoo.com. Thankfully it doesn’t add teams based on your zip code, there are still some folks in San Francisco that want to follow the Red Sox. . .
